Tristen Cooper is a Senior Compliance Consultant and Security Engineer at Parachute with 30 years of IT experience. Having held various positions, from helpdesk support to system administration and security engineering, he now specializes in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
At Parachute, Tristen develops security and compliance strategies, leveraging his data, risk, and intelligence analysis background. He actively participates in industry groups like the FBI’s InfraGard and CompTIA’s ISAO and stays informed through various threat feeds and legislative updates.
Beyond Professional Excellence
Outside of work, Tristen holds degrees in Criminology and National Security. He is a trained intelligence analyst and published author who enjoys manual machining and developing new strategies for quantitative risk analysis. His interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving enhances his capabilities as a dynamic leader and problem-solver in both professional and personal settings.
